About the Author:

Steve Wiens is the founding pastor of Genesis Covenant Church. He served previously as associate senior pastor at Church of the Open Door in Maple Grove, MN. Steve received a BA in psychology and sociology from Gustavus Adolphus College in 1993 and an MA in educational ministries from Wheaton College Graduate School in 1994. He has been a pastor since 1995, serving congregations ranging in size from 150 to 5,000 regular attendees.
