Andy Stanley

Andy Stanley was born Charles Andrew Stanley in Atlanta, Georgia in 1958. He attended Georgia State University where he studied journalism and later earned a master's degree from Dallas Theological Seminary. He spent several years working as an Associate Pastor and MInister to Students at First Baptist Atlanta before co-founding North Point Community Church with five other people in 1995. The church later grew to have over 32,000 attendees across its six campuses. It is one of the largest churches in the United States and the associated North Point Ministries has planted more than 20 partner churches in North America. Stanley himself has been named one of the most influential preachers alive and has spoken at the National Prayer Service and Willow Creek Association's Global Leadership Summit. He lives in Milton, Georgia with his wife, Sandra, and their three adult children.
