Dr. James Macdonald is a Canadian Pastor and co-founder of the megachurch Harvest Bible Chapter. He was called to ministry during a competition on Word of Life Island, in Schroon Lake, New York. He received and undergraduate degree in theology, and a masters from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He founded Harvest Baptist church in 1988 and since the church has grown to seven campuses around Chicago Illinois. Macdonald also created “Walk in the Word” in 1997, which became a radio outlet for Macdonald’s ministry. After 30 years with Harvest Church, MacDonald left and has since launched a new online ministry called James Macdonald Ministries. Macdonald also launched Home Church Network, in efforts to provide a non-traditional way of approaching church.
