Marion Gordon "Pat" Robertson was not a serious Christian until after he failed the New York bar exam and led him to months of what he described as disappointment, embarrassment and unemployment. After converting to Christianity, he began working as a minister. He founded the Christian Boradcasting Network, the International Family Entertainment, Inc. which became ABC Family Channel, teh Christian Coalition, CBN Asia and Regent University. He has made a number of failed predictions and has become known for both his predictions and claims of power such as the ability to convince God to redirect hurricanes.
