We received word today that Westboro will be picketing the two synagogues in town this Shabbat, right before they picket Dr. Tiller's funeral. I will consider it a badge of honor.
Dr. Tiller's clinic will not close; the need is too great, the cause too important, the courage of the people on the front lines too strong. Somehow, when the next couple calls from New Jersey or North Carolina or Arkansas or Vermont, the phone will be answered and there will be people in Wichita to help.
*Out of respect, I use the letter "G" to refer to the Eternal.
