Barack Obama is a Dangerous Man

This is not a problem of coarse rhetoric but of contradictions in policy - the very brand of contradiction that fuels so much resentment. I have no doubt Obama knows this. The question remains whether or not he sees himself as capable of doing anything about it. "There is no straight line to realize this promise," he said in this context, and that seems to have been the President's response to this conundrum. That is, it will take tact and time. Obama has an abundance of the former. My fear is that he might have a dearth of the latter.
