Leadership Lessons From Mother Teresa

"We need silence in order to be able to touch people," said Mother Teresa, and she practiced silence each and every day. Even as the busy sounds of Calcutta poured into the charity's windows each morning, Mother Teresa sat in quiet contemplation and prayer. She waited on God and found herself sustained in that quiet place. Silence was the source of her energy and tireless passion for her work each day.
