Memory and the Twelfth of Never

Emilio and Violet's song was The Twelfth of Never. Listening to the lyrics, he and Vi were blessed to have been able to live out those words in their lives.

Hold me close
Never let me go
Hold me close
Melt my heart
Like April's snow

I love you
Till the blue bells forget to bloom
I love you
Till the clover has lost its perfume
I love you
Till the poets run out of rhymes

It was always a nice coincidence that we had met on the same date as they did, but there in our former church I had a new thought as Ed and I held each other—that we had a challenge, and an example to live up to in our own marriage, in sharing that anniversary.

Until the 12th of never, and that is a long, long, time.
