Congress Reaches Rock Bottom For Cynicism

The videos below chronicle the exploitative treatment of 9/11 rescue workers in general and non-documented immigrants who were 9/11 rescue workers in particular as political footballs. I cannot imagine a clearer, more distilled example of both Democrats and Republicans blatantly and shamelessly putting political strategizing over fulfilling as uncomplicated, unambiguous, and uncontroversial a duty as they have to meet as clear a moral priority as they have. I have never observed inexcusable, unrationalizable, unconscionably petty and cynical behavior from the Congress on such bipartisan basis.

This is all such a disgrace.

What if conservatives, who preach small government, wake up and realize that our interventionist foreign policy provides the greatest incentive to expand the government?
