Newt Gingrich Discovers the Down Side of Capitalism

We all knew that Newt Gingrich was a craven grifter who would say any preposterous or divisive thing to get himself elected. But did anyone ever imagine a Super Pac devoted to supporting him creating the 28 minute video advertised in this attack ad??

    Newt Gingrich is the 99%?

Ol’ Newt has been trying to relate to “the working class” by stating he has a job, works hard, and has the same troubles as any other middle class citizen.

…Except that he can open $500,000 charge accounts at Tiffany’s. And he makes millions of dollars. And he has disdain for anyone below his economic class (not to mention people in his economic class that disagree with him).

    Thoroughly amazing, I agree.

My only worry is that by coming out now the Bain issue might seem like old news come October. But on the flip side, having the attack come from a Republican rather than a Democrat might give it more legs.

If it were coming from Obama, it’s clear that the Republicans would unite in the view that the attack simply shows that he’s a socialist who wants to lock all the hard-working successful folks into labor camps. I’m curious to see how it will play out now that Gingrich and Perry are the ones bashing on capitalism.

Obama’s going to have reels and reels of footage of Republicans making his case for him. Maybe these guys want Romney to lose to Obama so they can run again in ’16.

Yeah, and knowing him–he won’t use it.

I keep telling you, it’s the OWG that wants to keep Obama in power for another four.

it’s the OWG that wants to keep Obama in power for another four.

Everyone who glimpsed into the Abyss of the current Republican party want to keep him in power: if he ate puppies alive and posted videos of it on youtube, he would still be the better choice.
