Rowlf the Dog on the Jimmy Dean Show

Alright, just one more muppet feature for the blogathon. When I was a kid in the ’80s, waking up at 5am often meant finding old black and white shows on TV. So it feels appropriate to break out the vintage footage of Rowlf the Dog on the Jimmy Dean Show for the 5:15 am slot in the blogathon. I can hardly wrap my mind around the realization that the muppets really go this far back in television history.

When I was a teenager during the 80′s there was no such thing as night broadcasts so if you would wake up at 5am the only thing you could do was listen to the radio. :)
It is now 11am in Spain. Hang in there, the blogathon is almost over!
