National Geographic does its usual quality work covering the ongoing restoration of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.  A little reminder to us believers that for all the sound and fury of our current age, we are just little people who are part of something far more ancient.  There’s something about being part of a tradition that has customs predating the birth of European civilization, while all around us our culture grabs onto fads that have all the staying power of Pet Rocks.
