Rolling the Dice

Rolling the Dice January 11, 2009

Well, Ed’s off in Vegas, and he’s collected a team of great bloggers. Looking at that list, yep, I see 5 people I would definitely put on my A-list. So how did I end up on there? Oh, wait, Ed’s going to Vegas because he enjoys gambling. Ain’t no fun if you only go for the safe bets.

Anyway, some of you may recognize me as an infrequent commenter on Pandas Thumb and ScienceBlogs. What you may not know is that I have (sort of) my own blog, Missing the Point. Unfortunately, last year was filled with a series of time consuming responsibilities, and the only entry of note was when I broke the news that the judge had ruled in favor of UC in ACSI v. Stearns on the remaining charges (that’s the creationist textbook case in California, now appealed to the 9th Circuit). So now that I’ve fixed my computer and settled life down a bit, I’m hoping guest blogging for Ed this week will give me the kick in the pants that I need.

So, Ed, thanks for rolling the dice with me. Hopefully I won’t disappoint.
