Alex Jones Continues His Paranoid Ravings

After Alex Jones proved just how much of a paranoid lunatic he is on CNN last week, he then went back to his hotel room and uploaded a video to Youtube telling his followers that he may be killed by “killed by crackheads” who are on Mayor Bloomberg’s payroll.

And then he went on HuffPo live and wigged out again, literally screaming into the camera about “poison in the water” (fluoride, of course).

“They’ve got poison in the water! Poison in the water!” he bellowed. “This is a normal response to this! This is how they should have responded to Hitler! You’re in danger! You’re in danger! You’re in danger, everybody watching! They control both parties! You’re in danger! Wake up! Get out of your trance! They should have resisted Hitler like this!”…

It’s time to get a pulse again. Howard Beale said in Network, “It’s time to get mad. It’s time to say ‘I’m a human being, god damn it! My life has value!’ And it’s time to say, ‘I’m as mad as Hell, and I’m not going to take this anymore!’ […] A lot of people say, ‘Just leave us alone. I don’t care about inflation, or the Russians, and the shootings, and the crime in the streets. Just leave us alone. Let us have our steel-belted radios, and our TiVo, and our iPads and leave us alone in our living rooms. Well I’m not going to leave you alone! I want you to get mad! I want you to realize the American dream is becoming a nightmare and our liberties are being systematically eradicated. […] Learn about the New World Order! Learn about the globalists and how they fund fascists, communists, and socialists — anything that’s centralized. Learn about eugenics and the cancer viruses in the vaccines. Learn about the GMOs that are meant to sterilize you.

Has he finally hit bottom on just how unhinged he can become? I doubt it. Paranoia sells well, I imagine.

As I recall, Howard Beale ended up having his ticket cancelled in Network.

  • Stacey C.

Okay…leaving everything else aside…”steel-belted radios”? WTF are those?

  • wesuilmo

Probably a mistake in transcription. Should have been “steel belted radials”, as in tires.

  • Kengi

Steel belted radios will be invented in the robot controlled future after Skynet uses an outdated copy of Dragon dictation software to transcribe the rantings of some idiot screaming about steel belted radial tires. They will be very cool and very successful. Bigger than the iPod!

  • lordshipmayhem

I am over 50 years old. I grew up with fluoridated water supplies. I still live in a city with a fluoridated water supply. Last time I checked, I was still alive (cue CladOS song).

What danger is this lunatic ranting about?

  • For all of Jones’ conspiracy theories to be true, nearly the entire country would have to be in on it. Maybe that’s why we’re not getting angry enough for him.

  • matty1

What more evidence do you need? There is clearly something wrong with his precious bodily fluids.

  • dugglebogey

When they start using the character Howard Beale as their role model, WATCH OUT!

Did they even watch Network? Beale was having a psychotic episode, he wasn’t “speaking the truth!”

  • Doug Little

Maybe where he is from there is lead in the water, judging from his behavior.

  • justsomeguy

    @#7 matty1:

His humours are out of balance. Too much yellow bile, I think. A vigorous course of leech therapy ought to clear him out……. Which is to say, let’s just keep administering leeches to his person until he can’t complain anymore.

  • Randomfactor

    He does sound quite mad.

  • busterggi

Bet he’d say someone had eaten all his straberries too.

  • Ed, if this is rock bottom for Alex Jones, then he’s been scraping along it for well over a decade. The only difference is that he’s finally reached the wider national audience he’s craved, and so there are more cameras around to record his particular brand of insanity.

Go all the way back to 1996 and you’ll find him there, on Austin Cable Access TV, his face as purple as a beet (I kid you not) as he rants about the Waco Siege and the Oklahoma City Bombing being the work of the New World Order intent on demonizing patriots and pursuing their agenda of enslaving the American population.

  • For all of Jones’ conspiracy theories to be true, nearly the entire country would have to be in on it. Maybe that’s why we’re not getting angry enough for him.

Virtually every one of his conspiracy theories can be trivially disproved, but he will simply tell you that “it’s all there in black and white, read it for yourselves” while waving a bunch of almost completely unrelated press clippings and news releases in your face. He knows from long experience that (a) the vast majority of his listeners won’t bother to read them and (b) of those who do, the vast majority will only read into the what Jones himself tells them is in them.

    Conspiracy theories at their finest.

  • Jones hit rock bottom years ago, began tunneling, and emerged on the other side of the planet.

  • savagemutt

He’s dug all the way down to the elephants. Soon he’ll be burrowing through the Great A’Tuin’s shell.

  • anubisprime

I fully expect this gent to finally implode, he has been on the edge for far two long and unicycling can only get you so far before the inevitable crash and burn.

He is absolute paranoia made flesh, by his actions he is not viable and will either have a heart attack a gastric ulcer or full throttle total mental breakdown, probably all three…sad really.

What is weird are the followers, are they for real or is it just the ‘entertainment’ value ?

I cannot for the life of me understand how anyone can parse his truly psychotic ranting let alone agree with what the fuck he rants about, just surprised alien abduction has not been mentioned yet?…or has it?

  • noastronomer

    @lordshipmayhem #5 +1 Internet for a Portal referrence.

@d.c.wilson #15 Yes, but *which* planet?

I’m mostly afraid that when Jones’ head does finally explode there’ll be no-one around to record it.

  • jnorris

After he complains about the missing strawberries (see #12) he’ll notice the potted palm tree was thrown overboard.

But first, Alex you will have to wait your turn at being killed, Ted Nugent is ahead of you on the list.

  • neonsequitur

matty1 beat me to it. Mr. Jones hasn’t been getting enough rainwater. Or he’s hitting the grain alcohol too hard.

What I want to know is, why does anyone pay any attention at all to this guy? Seems like a complete waste of time.

  • demonhauntedworld

If only Alex Jones could get put on that national database of mentally ill people that the NRA was proposing . . . and then we could let the NRA explain why it was going to advocate taking away his guns.

  • dingojack

“…Learn about eugenics and the cancer viruses in the vaccines.”

Perhaps having Head-in-Rectum Disorder (HiRD) for such a long time has resulted in a massive HPV infection of his brain.

The hypothesis fits the known facts – now to hospitalise him to test it. What’s it take to get someone involuntarily sectioned in the US?

  • People like Jones certainly help blur the line between delusion and madness. I really don’t fear him, personally. He really has too much to lose to go throwing it all away on some ill-conceived “direct action” against some government authority. He may be crazy, but he’s not stupid (at least, when it comes to profiting from his delusions.)

However, for every Alex Jones, there are many truly disturbed souls who are quite willing to blow up government buildings or fly planes into tax offices (that happened less than two miles from my home). It’s the faceless people who feed off Jones’s delusions that are the dangerous ones–the ones who feel they have nothing left to lose.

  • People like this guy and Ted Nugent who claim they’re going to be killed could really boost their credibility with me by, you know, getting killed.

  • I can’t even imagine how anyone can even follow Jones’ rantings. He jumps around from one topic to another like a flea on a hot plate. I’m sure it all fits together into one big tapestry of conspiracy in his mind, but what comes out of his mouth is an incoherent babble.

  • Suido

    @d.c. wilson #25

Not so much incoherent babble as a world class Gish gallop.

  • anubisprime

    Suido @ 26

Seems the Gish Gallop is a number one indicator that the galloper is mentally unstable to the point of a lunacy that can only be described as toxic, virulent, deep rooted, extremely ignorant, bigoted and terminal.

The point being they do not want answers to their inane questions only the affirmation of their dumbfuckery from the audience that are impressed by dumbfuckery mainly because the audience are dumbfucks.

They do not believe in consensus and they certainly do not consider reality as being in any way relevant, because there lies madness!

They have no conception what a debate actually is, they seem to think it is a platform for theist circle jerking.

Those that wield the Gish Gallop…so beloved of the god drenched and drowning… always do so because they suspect at a subconscious level that if the debate opponent is allowed to address any one of their myriad banalities…they are going to end up looking like a dumbfuck…

    Ironic really!

  • “He is absolute paranoia made flesh, by his actions he is not viable and will either have a heart attack a gastric ulcer or full throttle total mental breakdown, probably all three…”

OR, he can “primary” a slightly less insane GOPrick in whatever district he lives in.

I’m too lazy to do it, but it sure would be fun to set up a faux Alex Jones appreciation blog “honey trap” for the ReiKKKwingers just to see how far they will go to outKKKrazzeepants each other.
