Staver Doesn’t Understand Colonialism

Mat Staver, the dumbest lawyer in America not named Larry Klayman or Orly Taitz, recently went to Peru to receive an award and speak to government officials about…whatever it is they wanted to speak to him about. He seems not to understand what colonialism means.

And one of the things that they are concerned with is that America is trying to undermine that Judeo–Christian foundation, particularly the Obama administration is funding through the State Department and other ways pro-abortion initiatives, pro-LGBT initiatives, lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, transgender, etcetera, and same-sex marriage initiatives…

And my message was about worldview and two different worldviews, one with God and one without God and how it makes a difference in law and policy. And then I took it down to specifics such as abortion and marriage and that these are part of God’s natural created order, that there’s a sanctity of human life because we are created in God’s image and marriage is part of God’s natural created order and it is part of the very first form of government and that we must protect those and I encouraged the Peruvians to stand strong.

So after that, we got an ovation, a standing ovation there, and to my amazement then, the next part of the ceremony was they awarded me a Congressional Medal of Honor…

They were very appreciate to us that we were there to help them in any way so that they could maintain that Judeo-Christian foundation. What we see is an imperialist America, a colonialist America under this Obama administration exporting anti-God, anti-values to these countries in Latin America and around the world.

Uh, Mat…you do realize that it was actually colonialism when the native people of South America were converted, many of them forcibly, to Christianity, don’t you? I didn’t think so.

That there is some really fine use of language.

Marcus Ranum, he is one that does speaking goods, and convince many in front with it.

Sitting in the very front row was a general in the Peruvian Navy

You guys must be summa them card-carryin’ pedantics, the way you carry on ’bout proper speakage and writage.

Speaking of Mat Staver, he tells me that trailers for his movie are now available on the interwebs. What do you bet it will be half a double feature with Santorum’s flop in literally tens of church basements everywhere?

    #3 John Pieret:

Staver can’t tell the difference between generals and admirals because Peru is landlocked…or something…except for the Pacific Ocean, which only exists on the west coast of the United States.

And another thing…I don’t know what the Peruvian Congressional Medal of Honor is awarded for, or what it signifies (guesses welcome), but I’m pretty sure that Staver will now brag about being a hero and recipient of America’s highest honor.

Wait wait wait. I thought Obama was supposed to be an anti-colonialist.

My snark detector must need repair, because Peru is a Pacific nation, and its largest city, Lima, is right on the coast. I learned that in Grade 8, when we read Kon-Tiki in English class. It’s a masterwork of crackpot anthropology, but a pretty good adventure story. Anyway, the expedition started, and the raft was built, in Peru. Here’s the link to the Wikipedia article on the Peruvian navy: (Even the allegedly non-existant Swiss Navy actually exists, as a force that patrols the country’s navigable inland waters.)

    So Matt’s pro-choice now?

Proofread much Matt? I had to re-read to delve meaning out of your sribbo-babble, and it hurt!

Please note that the rank of General is not one usually associated with any Navy. I do wonder if the Peruvian Naval Infantry uses a different rank structure though.
