This Almost Deserves a Medal

The Daily Show had a hilarious story about John Beale, an EPA employee who claimed to be a CIA agent (he wasn’t). And to have malaria (he didn’t), which he got in Vietnam (he wasn’t there). And then, after he got caught, he moved in to his former boss’s guest room. This almost deserves a medal for chutzpah.

“His urine tastes like champagne.” Priceless!

Mr Beale told me that his second cousin (once removed) is George Constanza.

    True story.

This is being posted on FB as proof that global warming is a fraud, by the way.

    Because, well…, because….

I got nothing. I feel like that legislator that just gave up at the absurdity of it all.

The committee had a field day beating up at the numbskulls at the EPA. However, it is not totally off the wall that someone working for another government agency is also a CIA asset. In the agency I once worked for, we had a guy who was a refugee from Estonia who every once in a while would disappear for a few days or a week on what he said clandestine work (he never said the agency was the CIA). I don’t believe that anyone in authority actually tried to confirm ta CIA connection because the CIA will generally neither confirm or deny the claim. Thus, had anyone from the EPA attempted to verify Beale’s claim, they probably would have been stonewalled.

I found out early in life if you act like you owned the place, 90% of the people would leave you alone. Mr Beale acted like he owned the whole of the USA government. The government believed him. Good show sir.
