Wingnut: Only Right Wing Women Can Save Black Men

Raynard Jackson, CEO and president of a public relations firm, has a column in Charisma magazine that will leave your jaw on the floor. In one of the most bizarre screeds you’re ever going to see, he actually argues that Ann Coulter and Laura Ingraham are the true saviors of black men.

Black women constantly complain about the dearth of “eligible” black men to date and marry. Noted sociologist William Julius Wilson has argued that “the increasing levels of non-marriage and female-headed households is a manifestation of the high levels of economic dislocation experienced by lower-class black men in recent decades.”

He further argues, “When joblessness is combined with high rates of incarceration and premature mortality among black men, it becomes clearer that there are fewer marriageable black men relative to black women who are able to provide the economic support needed to sustain a family.”

Then you add in the unfortunate increase in homosexuality within the black community and you have a recipe for disaster.

This is why black men need more white women like Ann Coulter and Laura Ingraham. Even though they are conservative media personalities, they have done more to promote the well-being of black males than many of the very women who stridently complain about the lack of “eligible” black men.

There aren’t enough heads or desks.

.. he actually argues that Ann Coulter and Laura Ingraham are the true saviors of black men.

I don’t spose he asked any actual black men bout that idea beforehand did he?

Stop incarcerating so many black men for drug offenses and the number of eligible black bachelors would increase.

There aren’t enough heads or desks.

I’m starting a new charity, Desks Loves Heads™©, dedicated to my self enrichmentsupplying eco-friendly prefabricated desks / tables, and extra heads. The desks are made from the used heads returned for recycling, and the heads themselves — carefully cleaned and sanitized to remove all traces of wingnuttiness — are generously supplied by Darwin Award winners, thugs and other politicians (foots carefully extracted from mouth or other bodily parts before shipment), and CEOs (they get a tax-exemption). The heads have handles attached for ease in gripping when bashing, carefully handmade from the extracted feet by unicorn-approved virgins (of any sex and most ages, this is made by an equal opportunity slaveownercorporation).

Don’t worry, the toxic sludge resulting from the wingnuttry sanitation is safely disposed of in the local water supply, as approved by our boughtcarefully trained local Sanitation (Money Laundering) Office.

Is he advocating interracial polyandry here? He seems to be arguing that the solution to black men being unmarried is for them all to marry Ann Coulter or Laura Ingham. I’m not sure who that’s meant to help or how.

Now, look, you people always get offended at the slightest things, but Ann and Laura are just looking out for you people. The least they could expect would be some gratitude from you people.

  • fmitchell

Out of all that BS, the phrase that jumped out at me was “… increase of homosexuality in the black community.”

    1. Citation needed.

    2. If he means more black men coming out of the closet, maybe. However, one could argue that the percentage of gay black men has been relatively stable, and furthermore that a man who secretly desires other men over his wife isn’t exactly marriageable (at least w.r.t. “opposite marriage”).

  • hrafn

Can anybody explain to me how Coulter and Ingraham have helped anybody (black men, white women, yellow polka-dotted hermaphrodites, …) beyond themselves and their publishers, network executives etc (with sales, rating and so on)?

  • colnago80

Then you add in the unfortunate increase in homosexuality within the black community and you have a recipe for disaster.

An, of course, as is usual with conservative knuckleheads like Jackson, he provides not a jot or a tittle of evidence that the incidence of the down low in the Afro-American community differs at all from Caucasians or Asiatics.

  • Pen

Maybe this sounds like a stupid plan to Americans but where I live lots of black women have adopted a strategy of marrying white men. Actually, I don’t think it was so much a strategy as a lack of one, and certainly it isn’t due to a dearth of any race/gender in particular, but there you go. Just a thought…

And this fucktard is a CEO of a public relations firm…?

Seems like he could do with some advice from a better public relations firm!

There aren’t enough heads or desks.

You’re right. Especially for those of us practiced in the martial arts demonstration-style headdeskery. I’m just grateful that I did not have a partner holding the desk for me, as my head continued right on and passed through the floor.

Black women constantly complain about the dearth of “eligible” black men to date and marry.

Uhh … can anyone explain why why black women are limited to dating and marrying black men?

There isn’t any racism here, is there?

  • lakitha tolbert

Uhhm,Yeah, the racism in that is it’s just another guy slagging on Black women. And how the Hell does he know what Black Women talk about?

We’re not actually limited to dating Black men, many of us just prefer them. We just do!

Maybe we actually like/love Black Men, and want what’s best for them. We know they have the potential for greatnes and wish to show our love and support for them by ,Idk, dating and marrying them whnever it’s possible to do that.

But Chuck Forbid anyone go out of hteir way to compliment Black Women for their loyalty or devotion (bc if you say anything nice about us, we’ll just get uppity, I guess..) No just slam us for having standards and insisting that Black Men live up to those standards.

Or it could be this wingnut’s roundabout way of saying they should only be with White women bc White women have no standards?

I’m just guessing here. I have no f***ing clue what he’s trying to say about any of the groups he mentioned and only suspect that I may have been insulted…

I’m just guessing that you are very right about that.

Just Binged him, this is the proverbial tip of the iceberg. An apparent puppet of any teabag that will pay his “public relations” firm.

    Stevo @ 1:

I don’t spose he asked any actual black men bout that idea beforehand did he?

He only has to look in the mirror to ask that question – he’s black. The article he wrote has a picture, so I feel I’m on pretty solid ground with this one, especially since for the severely visually challenged, he also helpfully opens his article with the sentence, “I’m an African-American man.”

As to his qualification and standing, he has a shiny wikipedia page which glowingly claims he “… has been involved in every Republican presidential campaign from George H. W. Bush to George W. Bush. He has also worked on many Republican senate, governor, and congressional campaigns across the country” … and goes downhill from there. Spelling and grammar errors, and poor phrasing make it clear that he’s basically started the page himself. Wikipedia have tagged it as ‘multiple issues (needs cites, advertisement, promotes the subject) and someone on the ‘talk’ page paraphrased it as “my name is Raynard and i am trying 2 get my profile listed here and have NO idea why they won’t publishe it….can someone help me?”

However the one useful fact one gets from the page is that he is a proud graduate of Oral Roberts University, which I’m sure we can all give the respect it deserves.
