Klayman Wants Obama Deported

Larry Klayman, the dumbest lawyer in America not named Mat Staver, is like a combination of Don Quixote and the Equalizer bunny. No matter how many times he gets smacked down in court, he just keeps coming back with his bizarre conspiracy theories. Now he’s demanding that the Department of Homeland Security deport President Obama. Which is totally gonna happen, of course.

Today, Larry Klayman, the founder of Judicial Watch and Freedom Watch, and a former U.S. Justice Department prosecutor, announced that he has filed a deportation petition against President Barack Obama, on the grounds that he has falsified various birth and other documents with regard to obtaining a U.S. passport and other privileges as an alleged American citizen.

A copy of the petition with supporting documentation can be found at www.freedomwatchusa.org.

Klayman issued the following statement upon filing the petition, which calls for an investigation and a full evidentiary hearing by immigration authorities of the Department of Homeland Security.

“It is clear, based on a mountain of evidence as set forth in and attached to the petition, that the President and his agents have falsified documents, such as his birth certificate and social security number, to qualify for the privileges of American citizenship such that his citizenship, which is based on false pretenses, must be nullified. As set forth in the petition, this includes but is not limited to the fraudulent production of a computer- generated facsimile of an official state of Hawaiian birth certificate. Even if a legitimate birth certificate exists, Obama’s repeated use of a clearly forged birth certificate is still a crime and in violation of the law.

While this deportation proceeding may seem to some to be the work of conservatives who are out to get the President, this is not the case. Barack Obama’s propensity to not tell the truth is now well known, even among his leftist supporters. And, his actions while President belie someone whose actions show that he feels more kinship with his foreign roots and Muslim religious schooling and heritage, than the Judeo-Christian principles upon which this nation was founded. I thus urge everyone to read and digest this petition to have him deported and remove him from the United States, before dismissing it.”

The “supporting evidence” is a copy of Jerome Corsi’s book, some affidavits from “experts” saying Obama’s birth certificate was forged and a handful of Youtube videos. And as usual, he just can’t stop himself from including a bunch of idiotic political boilerplate rather than actual legal arguments. That’s why judges dislike him so much. And it just proves that whole last paragraph wrong.

Seems to me that the time has long passed when sanctions should be applied to Klayman for filing frivolous law suits.

  • Loqi

He seriously has YouTube videos as supporting evidence? Holy shit. How is this man still practicing law professionally? What’s next, adding posts he found on Facebook and touting how many likes it got?

  • dingojack

Loqi – You know the old law dictum: ‘When you’ve got law on your side, pound the law. When you’ve got facts on your side pound the facts. When neither are on your side, pound the table’. He’s just ‘pounding the table’, too bad for him that Judges aren’t impressed by such cheap theatrics.

It’s really scary to watch the human brain work with these conspiracy theorists. It is the same with Creationists and with other conspiracy wackos. There is absolutely nothing that will dissuade them from their belief.

Small wonder that so many of them are Fundies.

  • Loqi

Well, there’s no actual case, so he’s not really pounding the table. More like thumping his chest. While wearing one of those “I’m with stupid” shirts. Which is conspicuously missing the arrow.

  • dugglebogey

“Even if a legitimate birth certificate exists…”

I’m amazed that he even admits this possibility! What he’s saying is “He probably is a US citizen by birth, but let’s deport him anyway, just in case.”

  • John Pieret

I think Loqi is right. I doubt even Klayman thinks, after all the birther suits that have been tossed, that the INS will take this seriously. He’s grandstanding … maybe with hopes his “Freedom Watch” organization will get a few donations from people as delusional as himself. It’s less embarrassing than promising a million person rally in D.C. where only about a hundred people showed up.

    I want Klayman deported.

  • vmanis1

Yes, but even if the U.S. does deport him, will Hawai`i take him back?

I read up on this guy. He actually sued his own mother “for reimbursement of expenses for medical care for his maternal grandmother.”

I mean, I can’t even think of a proper word to describe someone like this.

and that is more effective a term when used with quotes.

He’s misusing the word “belie” there. And he accidentally told the truth because of it! “…his actions while President contradict someone whose actions show that he feels more kinship with his foreign roots and Muslim religious schooling and heritage…”

Holy shit. How is this man still practicing law professionally?

That is a really good question that gets asked time and time again. I think that Lionel Hutz is of similar caliber as a lawyer. It’s a shame he had to be retired as a character.

Uh, the Equalizer bunny? Not sure if that was intended or not, but it is pretty funny….

  • dingojack

    pianoman – lawyer?!?

The Equalizer bunny, he just keeps shooting and shooting and shooting and shooting……..
