Stein: Obama Most Racist President Ever

Ben Stein continues to show that he’s little more than a carnival barker on the political midway by telling Fox News that Obama is “the most racist president there has ever been in America.” Uh, Ben…we’ve had many presidents who owned slaves, for fuck’s sake.

Give Stein credit … he’s the shmuck’s schmuck!

Daddy, I’m sure is SO proud!

Come on, Ed. It isn’t racist to own slaves.

“There are times when an abortion is necessary. I know that. When you have a black and a white. Or a rape.” – Ben’s old boss Richard Milhouse Nixon

“But, Bob, generally speaking, you can’t trust the bastards. They turn on you. Am I wrong or right?” The bastards being the Jews, also Dick Nixon.

Well, you have to understand that the GOPers have redefined “racist” to mean “accusing others of being biased against blacks”. I encourage everyone to give that video a listen, it really has to be heard to be believed. You’ll get gems like this:

“The Republicans are the most pro-black party ever”

Based on things they did before most of the people reading this were alive. And Ben has the stones to say other people live in outer space.

As a society it appears we’ve done a good job of getting across the message that being a bigot is wrong. Bigots now bristle and take great offense when they’re called bigots. What hasn’t gotten across nearly as effectively is what counts as bigotry. As scienceavenger points out, those who are routinely accosted with the charge of bigotry simply redefine the term to mean “being intolerant of those who are intolerant.”

@ 4, It is their job , nay their calling to call black white and day to be night. The chiron says Stein is claiming that the deficit is going to help Republicans. You know, that deficit that has been decreasing annually for the last four years. I swear sometimes I despair of the stupid.

I’m pretty sure that Ben Stein gets paid to say such things. The payoff can include a lucrative book deal, a favorably timed and completely untraceable stock tip, a series of paid appearances on talk shows, a seat on a corporate board where you get paid hundreds of thousands of dollars for preciousness all work, or a position on think tank, … Wingnut Welfare is a gravy train that rewards outrageous behavior and self sacrificing loyalty to power, even as it makes you say things that make you look stupid.

Did Fox News Blonde #12 ask him who the second most racist president was? So viewers could, you know, figure what kind of criteria he was using?

Or was the question not asked because all the other presidents are white, and thus are not eligible for the “racist” label under the current definition in the latest edition of “The Big Book of Republican Talking Points and Memes”?

Come on, Ed. It isn’t racist to own slaves.

Of course it isn’t. It’s right there in the Quran Bible Torah.

Uh, Ben…we’ve had many presidents who owned slaves, for fuck’s sake.

To be fair with benny shitstain none of these other presidents ever committed an act of presidenting while black.

@5 Yes, it’s similar to what has been done with “science” by the anti-science folks (IDers, AGW deniers, etc.) They know its bad to be anti-science, so they just redefine science to include their armchair naval gazing.

Even for presidents post-Thirteenth Amendment, there’s Woodrow Wilson, who ordered the resegregation of the federal civil service, ending the reconstruction era policy of racial integration.

Hell, he was even a Democrat. How could Ben Stein miss him, unless he’s a woefully ignorant bloviator?

@#8 Hoosier- I’ll take a stab at the criterion. I think “doing things that racist whites don’t approve of” is the metric here. So Lincoln and LBJ would probably be tied for second-most racist Prezidents Ever!!1! But “being black” obviously trumps both in the eyes of Ben Stein.
