Perfect Way to Start Black History Month

February is Black History Month, so you can count every year on racist assholes putting their douchebaggery on display for the world to see. Here’s a perfect example in South Carolina, where a giant rock at a high school was painted to say “happy nigger month” and signed “KKK.”

But don’t worry, racism is gone. After all, we elected a black president, right? That made racism magically disappear, didn’t it?

    Look, it was obviously ironic.

You people can’t take a joke.

They aren’t being racist. They’re simply memorializing Southern culture.

Sadly, Modus is correct in a completely unironic way. They were celebrating southern culture here.

And here I was totally convinced when they said it wasn’t about hating black people, but about being proud of their white heritage. Boy Howdy, they sure fooled me!

This isn’t an expression of racism. It’s about ethical historiography in secondary education!

Something wrong here. I’m seeing an ad for Zappos, not anything racist.

It’s a positive message about Southern Pride. You libruls need to read it in context.

What seems to be the school’s FaceBook page indicates that the school has outside camera surveillance, and they’re investigating.

The rock has since been painted over.

I think the art students’ response was just beautiful.

Why did those liberal art students have to play the race card?

    Francisco,

This isn’t an expression of racism. It’s about ethical historiography in secondary education!

    LOL!

Sure didn’t take them long, abb3w. The campaign of intolerance to suppress Freeze Peach is even more widespread than I thought. Even fleetfootphilo @12 can’t resist kicking our Brave Heroes while they’re down.

Racism isn’t gone, it’s just that it’s Obama who is the racist-in-chief. Ask most any wingnut.
