Cheney: Obama Worst President in My Lifetime

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the most ironic and self-oblivious statement ever uttered since the beginning of the space-time continuum:

In a new interview for the April issue of Playboy, Cheney repeatedly tore into Obama on a wide array of issues, including the racially charged riots in Ferguson, Missouri, and foreign policy.

“I look at Barack Obama and I see the worst president of my lifetime, without question,” Cheney told journalist James Rosen. “I used to have significant criticism of Jimmy Carter, but compared to Barack Obama and the damage he is doing to the nation—it’s a tragedy.”

I have a hard time believing that will ever be topped.

Holy shit. That’s really amazing. That is the Michaelangelo of political bullshit. I cannot be surpassed.

And Bush and Cheney were the worst President and VP in my lifetime.

Two of my friends died in Iraq. My 401(K) plan and milions of others also died.

All Obama has done so far is mostly clean up the Bush/Cheney disaster. Winding down two wars, one of them a huge mistake. Getting the economy out of the Great Recession. With a lot of success despite a Repubican congress fighting him every step of the way.

And oh yeah, my 401(K) plan and those other millions have been resurrected thanks to the record stock markets under Obama. Thanks Obama!!!

including the racially charged riots in Ferguson

Yeah. Obama should never have snuck out of the White House and shot Michael Brown and pinned it on that white cop. Really, Wormtongue, can’t you just toddle off after Sauron?

I say this a couple of days ago on the ticker in the office. This is what I posted on FB.

    Fox Propaganda ticker headline:

Dick Cheney says “it will take a lot for America to undo the damage caused by “the Obama years”.

It’s official. Dick Cheney is, if not a psychopath, at least a sociopath to even suggest the above. Obviously, he is dillusional and attempting to deflect criticism away from his war crimes. However, what metric is Dick using to measure the damage caused by the Obama presidency? It is certainly not:

    – the record Stock Market

    – America’s GNP

    – The unemployment rate

    – The number of uninsured Americans

    – Record profits for Health Insurance companies

    – Gas prices (which the President has no control over)

    – Debt level (beyond the debt caused by invading Afghanistan and Iraq). Besides, while VP, Dick Cheney stated that the Debt level is sustainable and not an issue while pushing for invading Iraq. I also agree with Dick Cheney that the debt level is not an issue for America and is currently sustainable.

Thus, what “damage” has the Obama Presidency caused beyond showing that a Black man can hold the office of the presidency against a do nothing republican congress and vitriol racism by Fox propaganda (I dare anyone to go to Fox Nation and read the comments)?

Imagine what our country would be like now if the Republicans actually worked with the President for the betterment of the country?

Cheney’s statement was just ….. just.

I think we have this week’s Brian Fischer award winner…

Donnie, if it hadn’t been for Obama Team Republican would have a7-2 majority on the Supreme Court by now (and a comparable edge in the District and Circuit benches.)

We may need to rename it the Dick Cheny Award after this performance.

I still can’t believe they wasted a donor heart on this evil old lump of dung.

Man, that’s low….I am now doing the duck-and-cover drills from the U.S. – Cuban missile crisis ……Plus, holding up a Willie E. Coyote sign that says, “Help!” at the thought of a 7-2 republican majority on the Supreme Court

You guys are missing the more likely scenario: Cheney was actually dead (though animate) during the Bush years and only recently has medical technology reached the point of actually bringing him back to life.

How did Palpatine ever hire this guy?

This guy singlehandedly keeps the irony meter industry in business.

    I thought Cheney was Palpitane?

“I used to have significant criticism of Jimmy Carter, but compared to Barack Obama and the damage he is doing to the nation—it’s a tragedy.”

Wow. So he plugs up all the toilets and whines about the way Obama swings the mop?

Mind you, there are plenty of criticisms to be leveled at this administration; but the fact that it’s coming from one of the few people in the country who should be sitting quietly in a corner thanking his god that he’s not in the Hague. And that fact that he isn’t one more piece of evidence for the rest of us that his god doesn’t exist.

  • http://en.uncyclopedia.co/wiki/User:Modusoperandi Modusoperandi

To be fair, Cheney’s seen all the evidence that’s he’s stovepiped to himself and, after ignoring both the experts and any contrary evidence, he’s built a convincing case that Obama bears significant responsibility for 9/11, the 1970s and the assassination of Abraham Lincoln. Why, there was a story in the New York Times just this morning, quoting an unnamed source deep within the White House which backs up his case in every way, sometimes word for word.

  • felidae

The Big Dick opines that Obama is the worst president in recent memory, perhaps because he has been stymied in cleaning up the colossal foreign policy messes that the aforementioned Dick and his hand puppet George left him

  • Who Cares

For the people who are saying that Obama fixed their stock pension plans. Think about it a bit more, he did so by not fixing (or forcing the right institutions to fix) the problems in the economy. The investors are only fleeing into the dollar since it seems a safer place then the rest of the world.

  • Hoosier X

Cheney is only saying that because he was too young during Andrew Jackson’s presidency to remember it very well.

  • Hoosier X

Oh, shoot! I meant to say Andrew Johnson’s presidency!

  • keithb

You don’t expect that Cheney would list himself, do you?

  • http://kamakanui.zenfolio.com Kamaka

You had it right the first time, Hoosier X. Why we have that genocidal maniac on our $20s I just don’t get.

  • lorn

Funny, I’ve long thought of Cheney as the worst president in my Lifetime. He beat out W on points simply because he snubbed the convention expected of all presidents and never even bothered to run for the office.

  • llewelly

Obama has gone to enormous effort to ensure Cheney will not face accountability for his monstrous crimes, but, Cheney is so ungrateful.

If only Obama would ask himself what he is getting out of protecting Cheney.

  • Scr… Archivist

Let me get this straight…. Cheney is calling Obama black?

  • blf

Loqi@10. If His Corruptedness really was dead during his presidency, that would explain why he didn’t list himself: “I see the worst president of my lifetime…” (emphasis added). Your Most High Corruptedness was dead during THE worse modern-era presidency.

    “I mean,” he added with a shudder, “he’s a… he’s a… Democrat!

I always love how the wingnuts use Jimmy Carter as the go-to strawman for failed leadership despite the fact that he was a better president than both George Bushes combined.
