More Evidence Against the Latest ISIS Training Camp Claims

Judicial Watch, a group founded by Larry Klayman, has always had a tenuous relationship to reality at best, and their latest claim that unnamed sources in Mexico have found an ISIS training camp a few miles from the border in Mexico is looking more and more like total bullshit.

Residents of a small community on the border say an article about an ISIS training camp in the area is nothing more than a “rumor.”…

“We’re all working class people, people who work in factories and construction,” said Sanchez. “We would notice strangers.”

She and other neighbors say outsiders, especially foreigners, stand out.

“Right away you can recognize it by the accent,” said Jose Sanchez. “I’m from Zacatecas for example.”…

“I reached out to the Mexican government, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Northern Command,” said Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D-Texas) in a statement posted on his Facebook page. “None of them have found any evidence, credible or otherwise, that Isis is in Juárez.”

“Our sources are trusted and in the past have proven reliable and correct,” said Jill Ferrell, a spokesperson for Judicial Watch.

See? These completely anonymous people have, according to this far-right group of wingnuts, has proven reliable in the past. Therefore, they don’t need actual evidence for their claims. Damn skeptics, always ruining their fantasies.

Our sources are trusted and in the past have proven reliable

I, too, have found my ass to be a trusted and reliable source when producing steaming piles of shit. Information about ISIS training camps, not so much.

You’re wrong, Ed. ISIS was in Juarez. Most were robbed, a few were murdered, a bunch were held for ransom (also, murdered) and a couple woke up missing kidneys.

“Right away you can recognize it by the accent,” said Jose Sanchez.

When ISIS members shout “Allahu akbar!”, it has a bit of a Yucatan twang to it.

Well, Ed, we all know that circular reasoning is the paranoid conspiracy theorist’s best friend. So, of course the people are going to deny it, right? How could they do otherwise? C’mon, man!!! Get with the program. Now, pass me some more of that tin foil. I’ve found some exposed places on my scalp. One can never be too careful, ya’ know!

It isn’t looking more and more like total bullshit. That would be impossible. It looked 100% like total bullshit to begin with.

    cervantes, #6:

I had the same thought as cervantes. The only way this could be looking more like bullshit if it is now making a negative amount of sense.

Love the catch-22. They’re reliable, so we won’t check their reliability.

  • blf

Not “more and more like total bullshit” but “more bullshit, adding to the total”.

At what point will they create a black hole from all the accumulating bullshit and vanish beyond the reality horizon?

  • lofgren

Well I am just shocked. Shocked, I tell you.

  • busterggi

Of course this is no evidence for the ISIS training camps – they’re all underground in the galleries the Chinese Commies dug back in the ’50’s under Ike’s orders. Keep up with things will’ya?

Zacatecas, Zacatecas, Mexico. That’s where John Morris Pendleton lives. He’s like my favorite creationist, because he’s adorable. Guy thinks UFOs are demons and there are flying poison breathing pterasaurs.

How soon you lying liburals have forgotten the video of Osama bin Laden crossing the USA-Mexican border. Also the red prayer rug that the jhadists dropped in the desert.

Alex Jones and his Infowarriors were all atwitter a few days ago when, supposedly, the FBI spoke one of their “reporters” Joe Biggs when he returned from his mission to track down these ISIS camps.

Biggs ludicrously claims the officer said the FBI views Infowars as a credible source for intel. If there is one thing I know about Joe Biggs from the handful of videos I’ve seen on him trying to break news, its that he gets just about everything wrong, every time. So if Biggs told the FBI anything, they’d be well advised to believe the opposite.
