The Open ID Login Problem

Hi folks. We do know about the problem with Open ID. Google shut it down and that seems to have locked people out of their FTB accounts if they were using that as their login. We are working on a fix for this and hope to have it taken care of soon. Sorry about the inconvenience.

Look on the positive side. The best part of not being able to log in is no one complains about it.

Heck, I’ll just log in somewhere else & complain about it.

Well, hell, I just logged in to complain about your all’s complaints to the Complaint Dept. (heh heh)

Evidence that modus is the author of Dilbert.

Is there any small chance that we’ll ever get back a usable version of a FTB frontpage? The current sorted-into-categories thing just isn’t something my brain can figure out. I have Ed, PZ, & Dana bookmarked but the rest of the content I just never get to see anymore and feel really cut off from stuff I know I’d like to read if only it were accessible. Even if I could get the topic sorting thing the summaries are far too brief to be useful.

Could there be more than one frontpage version? I can’t be the only one this doesn’t work for. Please.

@5: I hear you. I just use the list on the left-hand sidebar.

I wonder if the login problem is why I just saw SLC1 posting under that name instead of Colnago80?

Yes, I am unable to log in with my colnago80 sobriquet. It should be noted that the email addresses are to different providers (Google and Verizon). The slc1 identity is with Verizon.

No. I was Dilbert’s body double, though.
