Beck’s Nazi Tourette’s Kicks In Again

Glenn Beck’s Nazi Tourette’s syndrome has reared its ugly head, this time during, of all things, a discussion about the Texas cop who went all Dirty Harry on black teenagers at a pool party. Like pretty much everything else in the known universe, this reminds him of the Third Reich.

During the discussion, Beck and his co-hosts wondered why adults in the area didn’t intervene during the confrontation and help the police round up the teenagers at the party, concluding that nobody helped out because they were afraid of getting involved.

And since this is Glenn Beck, it was then only a matter of time before he brought it all back to Nazi Germany.

“They made you afraid,” Beck said. “Why are people not speaking out on things now? You’re afraid. Why don’t you say things anymore? Because you might be called a nasty name. You might be destroyed. They are making you afraid. The first thing the goon squads that Hitler had out; do you know how he grabbed control of Germany? Now thank God, we’re not here, but it’s happening to us mentally.”…

“That’s how they did it,” Beck said. “Well, that’s happening to us mentally now. Every time you speak out, every time you don’t comply, God forbid you say something about Caitlyn Jenner like Clint Eastwood, they’ll hammer the snot out of you. They’ll destroy your job, they’ll destroy you socially, they’ll make your name the worst bigoted name out there. You cannot be afraid. If you’re afraid now, you wait. You stay silent much longer and it will get much, much worse.”

Yes, Glenn. When people say stupid, bigoted things in public they get criticized for saying stupid, bigoted things. This has nothing whatsoever to do with Adolf Hitler. Seriously, if this guy goes to breakfast and his toast is burnt, he thinks that’s just like what Hitler did.

    “Again?” Don’t you mean “still?”

But if someone says something vile about Hillary, that’s perfectly ok because … reasons!

The first thing the goon squads that Hitler had out; do you know how he grabbed control of Germany?

Huh. Naively, I had thought that one of the many things he did was use the uniformed security forces to threaten and frighten teenagers and other civilians.

God forbid you say something about Caitlyn Jenner like Clint Eastwood, they’ll hammer the snot out of you.

Is Eastwood really being hammered? Maybe he is, but I haven’t even heard of his “joke” until I just read this very post, and I had to look up to see what happened. All that I see happening is that a TV show is editing a bad taste joke out of the broadcast.

But maybe he’s being “hammered” in venues that I don’t frequent.

I wonder if Beck has a secret room where he dresses up in Nazi gear and struts around. Methinks he doth concern himself too much with nazism.

Beck wouldn’t have a problem with fascism if he were the one in charge of it.

I remember when the Nazis sent their Brownskins to take over our pools…

So… Beck is on the same side as me in this? Using “uniformed security forces to threaten and frighten teenagers and other civilians” (Chiroptera@3) is a bad thing? I figured he would side with the police for putting their heel on the scary brown people.

Although, he did ask “why adults in the area didn’t intervene during the confrontation and help the police round up the teenagers at the party”. Because the uniformed thugs needed help? So i guess he’s not on the same side as me?

    I’m so confused!

Yeah Glenn, let’s all get together and enforce the law ourselves, who needs the police? We can beat up & shoot innocent folks at least as well as they can, maybe even lynch afew like the good old days.

Every time you speak out, every time you don’t comply, God forbid you say something about Caitlyn Jenner Martin Luther King like Clint Eastwood James Kilpatrick , they’ll hammer the snot out of you.

I wonder how I managed to blithely stroll through my teenage years without ever once being rounded up! I was so naive, I splashed and laughed at the pool, not *once* considering that in a proper society the local adults would have been creeping around ready to jump and tackle me down instead of laughing and splashing at the pool with me!

Were you wondering what Clint Eastwood said about Caitlin Jenner? The Huffington Post has video and a transcript. It seems pretty mild to me, but I suppose some might be offended.
