It’s not exactly the deal Glenn Beck wanted, but it’s a start. Bill O’Reilly announced that he will be joining Glenn Beck’s radio show every Friday. This after Beck said he wanted O’Reilly to come work for The Blaze the other day.
Former Fox News titans Bill O’Reilly and Glenn Beck will be reuniting for a weekly spot on Beck’s radio show.
“We’re going to do that every Friday until Beck gets tired of me,” O’Reilly said Monday on his “No Spin News” podcast. “And it’s a good outlet for me to, you know, discuss things back and forth with Beck, who’s a good friend. We don’t agree on everything, but it’s very lively.”…Beck was shown the door after advertisers fled amid outcry over his controversial rhetoric, even as ratings stayed strong. O’Reilly was ousted from Fox earlier this year after the revelation that he or the company paid millions in settlements for a number of sexual harassment claims.
After Beck left the network, O’Reilly still had him back on as a guest on “The Factor” more than any other Fox host.
The same thing brought them both down at Fox News. Both had very high ratings, but advertisers refused to buy ads on their shows, which made those ratings worthless. But Beck has the same problem on his own network, where the advertisers tend to be from the bottom of the barrel, like survivalist supplies and gold scam companies.
