Long Weekend

Just returned from the World Humanist Congress in Washington, D.C.

With the sole exception of printing my boarding pass last night, I just spent four days without using a computer or reading the news.

It was the most wonderful sabbatical ever.

Now, to hell with that.

  • That it was.

Glad to see you made it back safe… hope Brian is doing ok.

  • Tony

Please share what you learned/discussed/etc for those of us who couldn’t go…

  • What?

You went to a conference and didn’t bring a laptop?

What sort of monster are you?

I’m deeply shaken. I don’t know who you are anymore. 🙂

  • Brought a laptop.

Cursed hotel for charging $10/day for use of said laptop.

    Took sabbatical.

  • Darryl

    $10/day–for what? That’s un-American.

  • Hemant, can I interest you in some mobile broadband? It’s slightly less expensive than $10/day…

  • Can I just get the new iPhone next month? 🙂

  • I, too, was in the D.C. area for the past week or so without a laptop. In a week, I checked my email a total of 3 times. It was great. 🙂 Now I’m catching up…
