Our friend Edward Tarte, who had made plans to donate his body to a local medical school if the situation ever presented itself, has some good news: He’s cancer-free!
Glad you’re healthy, Edward

Congratulations Edward! Having been there myself, I know the emotional rollercoaster you’ve been on and the feeling of elation when you realize you’ve won the battle. Keep on keeping on with all of the many things you enjoy and again, congratulations!
Great news! There is something about Ed Tarte that is so genuine and humane. In his own understated way, he presents a kind, yet still uncompromising, face of humanism.
I’m very glad to hear this, Edward, and I wish you well. You are a gift to all of us.
Edward. Tarte. Is. Awesome. Long before there was a “clergy project”, there was Edward Tarte, a former Catholic priest in the 1960′s, now an atheist making YouTube videos. Absolutely one of my favorite YouTubers. Calm. No spin. Makes his points clearly and convincingly but without ever being antagonistic or rude. Great to hear that his health is doing well.
I don’t want to sound glum, but it’s a guarantee the situation will present itself at some point…..
PJB863, what are you talking about? What is a guarantee that what situation will present itself at some point?
he was going to donate his bod to baylor…the fundie christian school wrapped in allegations of animal abuse? what the hell made he decide that school…
