So Much Drama in the IsraeL.B.C.

There’s only one question I have after watching Santa and Moses duel in an Epic Rap Battle: How the hell did they get Snoop Lion to do this?!

How the hell did they get Snoop Lion to do this?!

Nice Peter has had nearly 600 Million video views.  Its likely they’re part of the YouTube partner program, where YouTube pays certain popular content providers money for every view they achieve.

It probably tied to some kind of advertising revenue, and even then its likely only a fraction of a penny, but its not unreasonable to assume that the people behind Epic Rap Battles have earned several million from just YouTube alone.  Throw in the iTunes sales of the songs and the merchandise, its not at all unlikely that they’re rolling in cash and were able to pay Snoop the standard performance fee.

And Nice Peter is only one of their channels!

It’s also possible that Snoop… oh god, I can’t call him “Snoop Lion” …likes their stuff and inquired about starring in an episode. of course he still got paid. ^.^
