You can be skeptical and friendly at the same time.

Hemant Mehta is the chair of Foundation Beyond Belief and a high school math teacher in the suburbs of Chicago. He began writing the Friendly Atheist blog in 2006. His latest book is called The Young Atheist's Survival Guide.
I hate to say it but I’m going to miss his rants when he is gone.
The nice thing about televangelists is that if you don’t like the ones you have now, you only have to wait a little while to get a bunch of new ones. We have several examples of nepotism going right now.
His ecological niche is a profitable one. When he goes extinct another parasite will soon be along to fill it.
But Pat says it with so much conviction and honesty he is going to be hard to replace. He is a person that can make you truly believe the bullshit coming out of his mouth.
Yeah Pat…run like fucking hell from your crazy ass!
Do you mean like those quoting Matthew 7:15 “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.”?
The better pary of a good lie is the truth…
Aww. Only 19 seconds of that hilarious lunacy. So beware of scamsters, eh? Was this clip cut off just before he warned us that we might have demons in our underpants, or just before he said he can leg press 2,000 pounds?
I enjoy those rare times when I get to explain to believers that even if Pat trained to only leg press a “normal” huge amount, at his age he’d go blind from the pressure the compression of his blood would put on his eyes.
“But he has that special/training/trainers/magic milkshake!”
“Does the milkshake make him have less blood?”
Unfortunately, most of Pat’s audience is not of the computer-using persuasion. *sadface*
Unfortunately, most of Pat’s audience is not of the computer-using persuasion.
Most of Pat’s audience is not of the neuron-using persuasion.
You can tell Pat is getting senile. His mental filters aren’t what they used to be and he lapses into these moments of truth about himself. “Beware scamsters in religious garb” Yes indeed Pat. People need to avoid you at all costs.
Pot meet Kettle….Kettle meet Pot…
