Ye Olde Book Club

From the August 26 issue of the New Yorker:

About Terry Firma

Terry Firma, though born and Journalism-school-educated in Europe, has lived in the U.S. for the past 20-odd years. Stateside, his feature articles have been published in the New York Times, Reason, Rolling Stone, Playboy, and Wired. Terry is the founder and Main Mischief Maker of Moral Compass, a site that pokes fun at the delusional claim by people of faith that a belief in God equips them with superior moral standards.

LOL ! Thanks for the giggle.

    From the 26th?

But today is the 24th… Are you a time-traveler, Terry?

The URL has “/2013/08/26/” so I think it’s just available online early.

      • Mackinz

Mine says “/2013/08/24/” so I’m not so sure.

The New Yorker link or the patheos link? I’m talking about the New Yorker. I get:

          http://www.newyorker.com /humor/ issuecartoons/ 2013/ 08/ 26 /cartoons_20130819#slide=2

  • John Small Berries

I can’t tell who’s speaking. The only one I see a mouth on is the guy to the right, but he looks angry – hardly like someone who genuinely enjoyed the “book” he’s talking about.

He looks more like he’s uttering the Generic New Yorker Cartoon Caption.
