Ambassador Sworn in on a Kindle

Suzi LeVine, incoming US ambassador to Switzerland, was sworn in using  a Kindle displaying a page of the 19th Amendment (which gave women the vote).

It’s jarring, of course, in that way new things are, and we have to wonder if a president’s iPad will one day have the same mystique as Lincoln’s Bible.
