International (Pagan) Babywearing Week!

Do you practice babywearing? It’s International Babywearing Week

Babywearing is good for babies because being close to a caregiver’s breath, heartbeat, and physical movement is good for fragile nervous systems. Babywearing is good for the baby-caregiver pair because it fosters positive emotional attachment and the ability to read baby’s cues and communicate. Babywearing is also good for the caregiver whose hands are then freed up to hold an older child’s hand, get a chore done, or lead an invocation at ritual.

Do you have a great photo showing how you use babywearing? Please send it to paganfamilieseditor@gmail.com and I’ll share it in a post here later this week and also on our Facebook page.
