The Future of Paganism?

The Future of Paganism? August 9, 2010

I’ve been busy gearing up for the Future of Paganism, part of Patheos’ Future of Religion series this summer. On August 23rd it’s all about us and it looks to be an exciting week. As I am about to catch a few hours sleep before I take off in a jet plane I wanted to mention two things about the Future of Paganism series:

1: Pagan Centered Podcast will be recording live this Friday evening and the topic is Future of Paganism. They welcome guests and it’s easy to join in by phone or Skype. PCP is always awesome and even if you don’t want to be a guest on the show you can still participate via the chatroom. If you’re not already listening to PCP you should check them out. They’re pretty awesome!

2: We’re still open to contributions for the Future of Paganism series, especially from specific points of view. If you’re a Pagan in Australia, South America, South Africa, the Middle East, Russia or in the UK/Europe, we’d love your perspective. If you’re part of a unique tradition, especially a tradition spanning back 40 years or more, we’d love your perspective. What is the future of solitary practice? What is the future for Trad Craft? GLBT Pagans? Dianic Paganism?

We’ve only got one week to showcase the abundant diversity of Pagan religions and we’d love your help! We’re welcoming short perspectives (500-1,000 words) for the series. To submit, or ask for more info, e-mail me: sfoster@patheos.com
