The Christ Letters and Why I Pray with Them.

When an obscure, cloistered English nun begins to wrestle with and question age old dogmas and Christian doctrines, she is led through a series of life-changing events which culminates in her recording (via audio channeling) nine letters from The Glorified Christ.

The letters first appeared in the Jubilee year of 2000, after ‘The Recorder’ as she is known, had been sufficiently purified and deprogrammed from all dogmatic conditioning. And this took almost 50 years!

And the purpose of these revelations? In the words of her spiritual master who descends in Christ Consciousness to her deprogrammed and receptive mind:

I HAVE COME expressly to rectify the misinterpretations of my Teachings in Palestine because all Church dogma is impeding your spiritual progress as thousands of people are discovering world-wide . .

will tell you exactly what I really meant when I taught on earth . . From them you will be able to understand the spiritual/scientific REALITY from which you have derived your being.

I have been meditating on these letters (free to download) for just over 5 years, along with the sixteen supplemental articles which serve to deepen their message and meaning. What is in them that appeals to and develops my spiritual growth? On reflection, three core components:

Love

The letters which deal with human nature, sexuality, ego, divine consciousness, science, and world religions, are all transmitted with a view to elevating the human consciousness that engages them, into a higher realm of divine love consciousness. And this higher spiritual plane is our gateway to greater health, energy, healing, and overall human flourishing on earth.

Our one creator God and Source of Being desires only our optimum health, spiritual enlightenment, happiness, and joy-infused flourishing. These letters give us the spiritual tools to reach such goals of spiritual elevation and world peace.

On a personal level they have helped me to love unconditionally at some of the most testing times in my life.

Credibility

Over the years I have studied theology, world religions, and many strands of contemporary and ancient spirituality. And I am very aware of (and have read many) other metaphysical or allegedly channeled revelations. Some have resonated with me; others have not.

The Christ Letters contain teachings and concepts which, although not necessarily original, have a pristine clarity and irrefutable authority to them that is very refreshing. For me they have helped to deepen my times of mediation and prayer. And their wisdom and spiritual consciousness energy greatly enrich my own spiritual evolution.

Definitive Teaching

Although there are many sacred and metaphysical texts several times the length of The Christ Letters, I invariably find that their precise and succinct teaching on all fundamental human, spiritual, and scientific issues, are sufficient for the average human intellect to absorb, and over time, understand and apply.

I am a firm believer in the Buddhist adage, “When the student is ready the teacher will appear.” Not everyone, Christian or otherwise, is ready or receptive enough to hear, understand, and receive the spiritual richness of these letters. They may not be meant for everyone. Just as The Course in Miracles, or Neale Donald Walsch’s Conversations With God, may not appeal to many seekers, The Christ Letters will (as they did for me) fall into the hands of those who are ready. Be it through this article or at another time.
