Anti-science and ignorance will rule the Trump White House.
There are many reason to oppose Donald Trump. One such reason is the scientific ignorance and misinformation promoted by Trump and his running mate Mike Pence.
In 2014 Trump took to twitter to promote his anti-vaccine nonsense, suggesting that high dosage vaccinations are responsible for autism. At the time Trump wrote on Twitter:
Healthy young child goes to doctor, gets pumped with massive shot of many vaccines, doesn’t feel good and changes – AUTISM. Many such cases!

(Healthy young child goes to doctor, gets pumped with massive shot of many vaccines, and doesn’t feel good and changes – AUTISM. Many such cases!)
In fact, for years Trump has repeatedly tried to draw a connection between vaccines and autism.
Yet the facts are clear: there is no causal connection between childhood vaccinations and autism.
Indeed, scientists say they now have evidence suggesting autism begins in the womb, long before any childhood vaccinations are delivered.
Bottom line: Linking vaccines to autism is dangerous and wrong, and is yet another reason why Trump is unfit to be commander in chief.
