With a Bible in his hand and citing the “truth of God’s word,” Pastor Greg Locke claims he doesn’t believe in “made up fairy tale nonsense.”
Pastor Locke, a conservative Christian with a large social media following, issued a tweet claiming that he doesn’t believe in “made up fairy tale nonsense” earlier this week:

Note the Bible in Pastor Locke’s hand, a book literally filled with “made up fairy tale nonsense.”
Locke’s tweet is an embarrassing example of a Christian either unwilling or unable to think critically. However, it is by no means the most egregious thing Locke has posted to social media. Indeed, Locke often promotes hatred and bigotry on his social media accounts.
Previously, in response to Locke’s biblically based anti-women rants on social media, people across the internet began to donate to Planned Parenthood in Locke’s name. The donations frustrated Locke, and made the simple minded pastor very angry.
On a video aimed at his conservative Christian audience Locke explained that he did not support Planned Parenthood, and was angry that money to the organization that provided healthcare to women was receiving donations in his name.
On the video Locke declares:
I want everyone to know that pastor Greg Locke has absolutely positively totally nothing to do with Planned Parenthood and I don’t want my name associated with this wicked mess.
In the video Locke also takes some time to discuss his “bold and Biblical stand” against Planned Parenthood, making several ridiculous claims, including:
There has never been an organization in the world, that has killed more innocent people, other than radical Islam, than that of Planned Parenthood.

More recently, Locke received a temporary ban from Facebook after posting a hate filled rant against transgender people.

Bottom line: Pastor Locke is not a smart man. But he is a mean spirited conservative Christian using his social media platform to spread a message of Christian hate and bigotry.
