Florida lawmaker Kim Daniels argues that demonic spirits are everywhere, and that many dolls are actually possessed by demons.
Florida State Rep. Kimberly Daniels, the black woman who thanked God for slavery by declaring “if it wasn’t for slavery, I might be somewhere in Africa worshipping a tree,” is a conservative Christian with some rather extreme and bizarre positions.
In her new book, Breaking the Power of Familiar Spirits: How to Deal With Demonic Conspiracies, the Florida lawmaker warns of “idolatry” and the power of “familiar spirits.” Daniels writes:
Most idolatry is rooted in fetishism. Simply put, a fetish is an object with a spirit attached to it. If we’re not vigilant, we can open doors to familiar spirits in our lives and homes simply by the items we possess and the practices we keep.
Taking the ludicrous claim that dolls are possessed by demonic spirits seriously, Charisma News explains:
In writing on fetishism and idolatry, Daniels goes back in history to when dolls had spiritual value attached to them. In religions and occult practices, dolls were used as supernatural intermediaries to confer favor, represent gods and enact witchcraft.
Commenting on the story, Joe.My.God. reports:
Last year Daniels went on Facebook Live to pray against the witches attacking Trump. Her “In God We Trust” bill was approved in a 97-10 vote by the Florida House and was signed into law by Gov. Rick Scott. Daniels also made news earlier this year when she thanked God for slavery because otherwise she “might be somewhere in Africa worshiping a tree.”
Florida State Representative Kimberly Daniels is on a religious mission, a mission to force her god on other people’s children. She’s been completely open about this theocratic goal as she preaches, “exorcises demons,” and “speaks in tongues.”
Indeed, Daniels is on a religious mission, and she shows no understanding or respect for the secular values upon which this nation was founded. In fact, the confused Christian extremist even goes so far as to thank God for slavery.
In one jaw-dropping clip from the FFRF video, Daniels declares:
I thank God for slavery… If it wasn’t for slavery, I might be somewhere in Africa worshipping a tree.
In another clip from the FFRF video Daniels proudly promotes anti-semitic slurs while minimizing the Holocaust, proclaiming:
You can talk about the Holocaust, but the Jews own everything!
Bottom line: Florida lawmaker Kimberly Daniels is a dangerous Christian extremist who thanks God for slavery and claims that dolls are possessed by demonic spirits.
