Hammering Ham

You know, I’m starting to doubt whether Ken Ham was ever willing to enter into the debate that he said he wanted. He made some plainly false criticisms of my wife, and I posted some corrections below.

Shortly after I uploaded this video, I saw a comment that someone had posted it to Ken Ham’s facebook. The moment I saw that, I went to his facebook to see, but it had already been taken down. That was fast! It seems Ham doesn’t want his followers to see it. I’m not at all surprised.

And with a 4 year degree in Creation Science you could be a janitor on Ken Ham’s facebook page as well!

I’ve posted on this blog before examples of how fast Ham is in censoring his blog. Thing is, his followers don’t seem to mind or even question that.

Yes, I’m still sore about that, that wanker.

I can’t spend any kind of time on that facebook page. It’s just torrents of batshit.

Look for this genetics article to be featured in one of Ham’s upcoming posts.

On Ham’s facebook someone posted a link to a xian apologetics site, that, after a link or three, takes you to that original article.

Hah. Looks like that one comment that was sent to Ham about “Recombination Rates and Genomic Shuffling in Human and Chimpanzee—A New Twist in the Chromosomal Speciation Theory.” has already been dealt with by Myers:

Sigh…I wish I could post that on Ham’s facebook page…

  • The 3-year old is right! The Earth isn’t millions of years old.

    It’s billions.

  • I really enjoyed watching that video, it was entertaining, elucidating, acerbic, & amusing. (I like your beard, too, though I still wouldn’t want one.) I especially liked the info about my feathered brethren, if my username didn’t make that obvious. Feathers: the original egg-cozy! I also felt (rather inexplicable) sympathy for the unfairly maligned dino-parents.

If Ken really doesn’t want to debate, you could always pull a clint eastwood & do it without him, instead of an empty chair you could use a baked ham.

  • Dogs actually do have a use for dewclaws (at least on the front feet):

Most wolves weren’t jumping into holes in the ice to fetch ducks, but this is an entirely different use for them!
