80′s TV show “Hill Street Blues” star’s incoherent anti-atheist rant

This morning, I told you about Daniel J. Travanti’s bizarre rant against prominent Florida atheist, EllenBeth Wachs.

Somewhere through his type-stumbling, he managed to claim there were no atheists in foxholes. But he didn’t say it like that. He referred to it as something he was famous for telling General Patton (who died when Daniel was 6 years old).

If you haven’t seen it yet, check it out. You can even send him a message! (He’s a bit ‘out of work’ since his higher power is only blessing him with Mesothelioma / Asbestos commercials these days.)

One comment lamented “He never *started* making sense.” I agree, and after seeing that epic picture of him from back in the day (in some parallel universe)… I can only picture him like this:

Daniel J Travanti is crazy like a family of dead foxes being used for beard-wigs

Let me know if you get any replies…

In all seriousness, I have no idea if he was drunk or just a jerk with super ADHD. If he has a mental / behavioral health issue, or has actually relapsed… I really do wish him a speedy recovery. Get better man!

Otherwise, screw you too, man!

I clicked on this link thinking, “Please don’t be Jeffrey Tambor, please don’t be Jeffrey Tambor…” Whew. This guy is truly pathetic though.

Perhaps Travanti once met George C. Scott, back in his acting days, and thought he was talking to the real Patton. Scott seemed to think he was the real Patton himself at times.
