Marine Corps outlaws Ouija Board because of “mystery and fear”?

Yeah, it’s real. This is a few months old but it’s still an active order for the engineer school.

Technically, it’s not illegal – stupid, but not illegal. The Ouija board was never officially ruled as a religious article so therefore it is not subject to religious protections.

Haven’t we got two wars, high rates of servicemembers committing suicide, and alcohol-related deaths to worry about?

Marine here. Number one, who the fuck has time for shit like this?!?! Number two, who cares??? I think that Marine Corps needs to stop wasting time writing retarded articles about stupid shit like this and train their Marines on their jobs and focus on the ones with Mental health issues, but then again that’s just my opinion.

“Has been found to create mystery and fear within the ranks of the MC population?” That is laughable

I had to look at the date to make sure it wasn’t April 1st

Am I the only who is fed up with the phrase “good order and discipline”? It has become one of those meaningless catch-all stockphrases that is always trotted out when someone perceives even the vaguest threat to the status quo.

I thought Marines were supposed to Improvise, Adapt and Overcome in the face of mystery and fear, I didn’t realize that meant staying away from scary stuff. Sounds like the cowards way out to me.
