Have you ever considered how much better your judgment is when you are feeling great than when you are down or pissed off and freaked out?
In Scientology there is a scale called the emotional tone scale.
This tone scale not only monitors how you feel it also influences how you think, how you act, and how aware you are.
It also has everything to do with how well you communicate with others and how much you can understand others and tolerate different realities.
In Scientology: A New Slant on Life L. Ron Hubbard includes a chapter on this emotional tone scale and the interaction between one tone level, his affinity (A), and his levels of reality (R) and communication (C), which form an interrelated triangle known as the ARC triangle.
He also gives a very simple tool to raise any of the three factors.
And I tell you, that’s a great thing to know when you’re trying to deal with a screaming child in the supermarket, an antagonistic co-worker of a freaked out neighbor.
