I wish more people would read Fyfe’s thoughts. He has some absolutely fascinating views on morality and has put a tremendous amount of work into his theory. It seems to be extremely counter-intuitive to a lot of people and causes no end of confusion but it’s well worth trying to get your head around because even if you don’t ultimately accept the theory along the way he provides enormously satisfying insights into a whole range of otherwise mysterious phenomena and really helps to clarify things a great deal.

I think the same thing. There seems to be a lot going for Alonzo’s thoughts, and what makes his situation better is that he seems like an extra moral person in general.

Ho hum. Seems like Fyfe is just another ethical subjectivist, but he argues that he’s not. Not particularly interesting or novel.
