Chris Christie Go Away!

On March 5th 2012 New Jersey Governor Chris Christie visited Boston, MA to fundraise for Republican Senator Scott Brown. Both Brown and Christie have been long-time opponents of equal rights for Lesbian, Gay, Transgender and Queer people, and Christie recently vetoed a Marriage Equality Bill that had been passed by both houses of the New Jersey Legislature.

In this speech I, as a Board Member of Join the Impact MA and Research and Education Fellow at the Humanist Chaplaincy at Harvard, speak out against Christie’s cowardly veto and in support of the American values of liberty and equal protection under the law.

The story was picked up by Towleroad, Joe.My.God and ThinkProgress. Even the National Organization for Marriage wanted to comment!

This is just weird: a guy from Britain who lives in Massachusetts lecturing the Governor of New Jersey on the sacred right of Americans … to redefine marriage?

They got it just about right!

I checked out your video message to Gov. Christie and found your comparison to equal rights remarkably nervy and far fetched. To actually compare the gay advocacy to the struggle and plight of minorities is to trick people into thinking that segregation and all the other struggles they faced are somehow on equal footing to gays. How does one teach kids how healthy, admiral and praiseworthy the LGBT lifestyle is and then in the next breath tell them in
their Sex Ed class how you can get a life diminishing, life ending disease like HIV? (And how do teachers do it with a straight face?) The contradiction
is just stunning! What is healthy about the average lifespan of a homosexual male being about the age of 46? That’s right. In a recent
study coming out of Denmark they found those statistics. In fact, the average lifespan of a pack a day smoker was 20 years more than that.
Pretty amazing when you learn the facts. Also, maybe a little refresher biology course would be helpful while at the Harvard institution of “higher” learning. The only way anatomically for 2
people to have intercourse is penis to vagina. The anal walls were not meant to accept a penetrable object. That’s why the anal walls rupture
and bleed when people use unorthodox or ABNORMAL methods to achieve sexual satisfaction which leads to HIV. Also, they don’t produce the natural
lubrication that the vagina does when preparing for sex. That proves the rectum area was NOT designed for penetration. I am not going to get more
graphic but even the average person knows that the bacteria in fecal matter causes many disease maladies such as parasites in the intestinal tract.
Somehow, I wonder why these facts are not presented in public school sex ed class across the country. Maybe it would not be very convincing evidence
to allow the gay agenda to keep advancing.

Also, two women can never have normal or natural sex either simply because there’s no organ or “appendage” for them to use on the human body to make that occur.

So, in reality they’re “engineering” or at the very least, using “creative” means to achieve sexual satisfaction (a replication or simulation of sex). Funny
how the truth lies in biology and anatomy because neither one has no agenda. The truth is purely the truth. Too bad these facts couldn’t be publicly
presented because the debate would come to a quick conclusion and no further discussions would be needed. People would soon see that opinions and
feelings on this mater are irrelevant. No bias would be necessary. What I’ve presented here is impartial, unbiased facts about human anatomy that no one
can dispute. No moral judgements or even religious arguments are necessary (although I could present solid biblical evidence). But again, not
necessary to arrive at the truth. The science really makes the case on its own!

ASK any biologist or doctor. So let’s see – if both IV drug use and homosexual practice are the 2 main causes of HIV infection,
should we seriously still promote homosexual practice to students yet frown on IV drug use and not see the absurdity
in that? Again, if anything you do promotes, facilitates or brings on a diseased state in the human body, then that behavior can’t be good.
As citizens we should demand that the public health and the rising epidemics of HIV and other unhealthy behaviors like smoking and poor eating
are put ahead of self interests and personal feelings. Also, to claim an equal right you have to prove your claim to equality and clearly the claim is invalid as the fundamental biology demonstrates.

I approved your comment so my readers can see the nonsense equal rights advocates have to contend with. There is nothing at all of value in your comment: it is filled with falsehoods and misinformation, resting on a bedrock of bias.

I could go through all the errors in your comment, but it seems clear that you are not truly interested in the facts (for instance, many more heterosexual people have AIDS than gay people, making heterosexual sex the main cause of AIDS). Instead, I’ll just say this: even if everything you say in your comment is true, how does the change the fact that I, as a human being, should be entitled to the same rights as you? The Constitution of the United States, and the UN Declaration of Human Rights, guarantee me equal protection of the law.

Who are you to deny my humanity?

Sir, the reason why heterosexuals may be more infected is because they are engaging in more questionably immoral, disease producing sexual relations as well and having relations with people who may be homosexual or bisexual, ( and perhaps not even knowing they may be infected) thereby spreading the disease to enter into and affect all of society. As for your unwavering stance that you feel entitled to equal rights, as I said, you need to show yourself on the same equal footing. To make a claim, in any realm, one needs to allow that claim to be examined and scrutinized under the lens of impartiality (not emotions which are always biased) and see if we can arrive at the truth of one’s claim, much like you would make a claim to be disabled from a job.The insurance authority honors or falsifies the claim, either granting your right to receive the benefit or declaring your claim false and/or invalid. I believe the facts I quoted earlier make clear the false claim to natural rights guaranteed to other groups to marry on the bogus claim to equal rights. The science, biology and anatomy provide the irrefutable proof that gays are not the same unions as straight people. It seems to me you would rather reject science than accept a truth that isn’t to your liking. If we were to give those rights, either through a majority vote or through legislation, then we would have to give those rights to the other 2 groups in society that also still carry the connotation of perversion, namely the pedophile and the incest proponents (to be credible with your entire argument).

Forgot to add – The Constitution provides nothing even remotely as to what gay advocacy is wanting. We have the right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness with that last right being rather vague as to what it truly will bear. If I believe my happiness can be had by say, stealing from affluent people, giving their goods to the poor in some conceived altruistic goal, is that ok? Also, we are not seriously going to take the UN’s unelected bureaucrats’ word for everything they think is a definable human right. Besides, we in America defer to our Constitution first. If you have time, I would suggest checking out the website, Then click on Mark’s blog on the right side. In it, he speaks about the Judas Prophecy. It’s worth considering, even though I know you ascribe to the Humanist worldview. Certainly, connections can be made to mirror what’s happening in our society with regard to the eclipse of reason and truth, ironically, reason being the culprit.
