Hindu woman abducted and forced to marry a Muslim

Hindu woman abducted and forced to marry a Muslim September 13, 2017

Arti Kumari Sharma, 20, was allegedly abducted at gunpoint at the weekend in the Khairpur District in Pakistan’s southern Sindh province and forced to marry a Muslim.
According to this report, the Hindu American Foundation (HAF) has called for the immediate release of Sharma, and her uncle, Kishwar Sharma, a Houston resident who escaped religious persecution in Pakistan to immigrate to the US, said:

I am deeply distraught to find out my niece was kidnapped at gunpoint near her house. Arti is engaged to be married in November and is the second girl to be kidnapped in my family.

Arti Sharma, a teacher at Qasim Model School, was abducted on her way home by a Muslim landlord, Ammer Wassan, and taken to a local mosque where she was forcibly converted to Islam and married against her will to a man named Amir Bux.
She was also reportedly coerced into signing an affidavit claiming that she married Bux and converted out of her own free will. Despite her family filing a First Information Report (FIR) with local police, Arti has not been allowed to return home
Said Rishi Bhutada, HAF Board Member and Houston resident:

Arti’s basic civil rights and freedom have been flagrantly violated, in contradiction of Pakistani law and international human rights law. We urge the Sindh High Court to order the immediate release and safe return of Arti to her family.

Many NGOs and human rights groups, including Global Human Rights Defence (GHRD) and the Movement for Solidarity and Peace, have estimated that more than 1,000 Hindu and Christian girls and women are kidnapped and forced to convert to Islam annually. The courts and legal system in Pakistan are often complicit in sanctioning this practice by accepting false documents and statements obtained through force, threats, or coercion.

The Foundation has extensively documented this trend and other human rights violations against Pakistani Hindus in its annual human rights report, Hindus in South Asia and the Diaspora: A Survey of Human Rights, 2017.
This report adds that an anti-conversion bill, unanimously passed in the Sindh Assembly, was roundly condemned by Muslim hardliners who described it as “anti-Islam”.  and pushed the government to repeal it with immediate effect.

These women will be subjected to rape for as long as they are married. The horror is difficult to imagine. Being accused of being “anti-Islam” has come to be regarded as praise for this thought and action.

Seems to me that there is a large cohort of men who have the primitive urge to take what they want by force. In civilised society these urges are kept in check by the force of law, education, the rearing of children to respect the feelings of others and sexual equality. Islam on the other hand distorts the laws in favour of those who consider women as chattel, educates males to treat women as objects, fails to educate females except to do as men say and actively obstructs any movement to promote sexual equality. This maltreatment of women is deeply rooted in islam and the abomination that is sharia. And those in power, men who enjoy their god given right to use women as slaves, punch bags and sex toys have no intention whatsoever to change. Islam is primitive, it’s an abomination, it’s immoral and its incompatible with democracy , equality and secular human decency.

IsLame-o-phobia is NOT a phobia as the fear is rational based on evidence…just look at any country dumb enough to have it as the controlling religion! Well actually ‘merica is getting pretty stoopid as the xtians gain more control! So living in any country that is controlled by any religion proves the phobia is not irrational!

Funny how in the West, we hear cries of “militant secularism” every time religious privileges are questioned. Never any mention of how a strongly, evenly enforced secularism would help stop violations like this,or the violence against Muslims in Burma. But it doesn’t make for good Daily Mail headlines.
