Monday Morning Muse – Ira Glass On Creativity

Monday Morning Muse – Sometimes It’ll Get You Through The Rest Of The Week.

Like many non-Americans, I suspect, I came across Ira Glass rather late in life. But, like my interest in David Sedaris, Frank Zappa, John Hodgman and Sarah Vowell, I’ve been working on my late-bloomer status.

Here’s a YouTube version (the full, unanimated lectures of Glass feature here) using kinetic typography.

Heh. I am so still in phase one (first quote–haven’t checked the video yet).

I sometimes envy my sister. Tone deaf, she can sing as loudly as she wants to and not offend herself. Me, I *hear* in perfect pitch… but cannot sing to match. I’m not bad, but I’m not up to my standards.

    Curse you, Ira Glass!

He and Phillip Glass are cousins. Some raging creative genes in that family tree!

      LOVE PHILLIP GLASS!! :)
