Oh, and apparently Tim Minchin is a genius. Took long enough for the rest of the world to find out.

Here he is again – all about Cheese.

I loved the song, “Santa-mental”, and the depiction of Christmas in Australia, but the animated baby was just WRONG!

Hey, I think I saw your house in that last shot!

    Best christmas song ever.

      Funnily enough, Digital Cuttlefish?

I hit ‘pause’ at around the 6.10 second mark.

The area of Google Maps where that’s being set happens to be a suburb or two south of where I first lived when I moved away from home. The lake that you can see near the house would be Lake Monger.

Therefore (since the square shaped arrangement of buildings that I can see in that clip must be Wembely Primary School)… I would say that this must be set in the Churchlands / Wembley area of Perth. A good representation of the Perth suburbs. Kudos to the filmmakers!

I kind of liked the animated baby – it made me laugh at the part where I usually cry.

  • Manly Bowler

It’s just wonderfully touching. Hope this song will get more traction than last year!

It’s funny, but I forgot just how sweet “White Wine in the Sun” is. That video was a good reminder.
