Bridget’s Harmonics on Satie Gymnopédie No. 1 (Guitarrista)

One of my all-time favourites. Brought to you by Bridget – whose album you can get here. So do get a copy!

And this? “Bridget’s amazing tremolo performance of Tarrega’s “Recuerdos De La Alhambra” all in one take.”

She makes it look so easy. Which just kills me.

Oh kewl! I love Satie. And Recuerdos is one of my favorite tunes evar. And now, I’m diggin’ Bridget, too. Wow.

I had a favorite recording of Recuerdos which I can no longer find, which really sounded like (but wasn’t) a duet – it was nearly mandolin-like. It was on reel-to-reel tape and I don’t know who performed it. So this is my new favorite.

I think you just made my day.
