Get Into Guitarrista – By Bridget Mermikides

Classical Masterpieces for Solo Guitar - Guitarrista by Bridget Mermikides.

I would highly recommend the final track El Ultimo Tremolo (Live), but then I’d feel weird for not equally highly recommending all the other tracks, because they’re brilliant too. For example, a very popular solo arrangement of Tchaikovsky’s Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy appears in Guitar Techniques Magazine.

You can buy the album from bandcamp, at Bridget – Guitarrista.

She’s brilliant. I regret not hearing her play live last time I was in London, but maybe one day I’ll have the chance. I did get a sneak-preview of her work, however, because she sent me a CD earlier last year – so glad it’s now out for everyone to listen to!

Thanks for introducing me to the wonderfully gifted classical guitarist. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to her work in the link provided. I shall definitely watch out for album on record shelves.
