World Of Religion (And Event Details About Screening Of Test Of Faith)

I’ll be back blogging in early April. From The National Post (See more of Richard Johnson’s work at: newsillustrator.com):

Quick news update – my friend Jack Scanlan will be appearing on a panel after a film screening of Test of Faith, on Monday April 16, 2012 – 7:00pm until 9:00pm at the State Library of Victoria. Cost is $10 per person.

‘Test of Faith’ presents the reflections of a number of modern Christian scientists who don’t see any conflict between a scientific worldview and belief in God.

Jointly hosted with ISCAST we will view a portion of the ‘Test of Faith’ documentary and open up for discussion with an expert panel featuring A/Prof Alan Gijsbers (Neuroscientist, Specialist in Addiction Medicine, RMH), Prof Graham Oppy (Monash University, Dept of Philosophy), Prof John Pilbrow (Former President, Australian Institute of Physics), Mr Jack Scanlan (editor of ‘The Pseudo Scientists’ podcast, founding member of Young Australian Skeptics) and Dr Bruce Yabsley (Sydney University, School of Physics).

That’s pretty informative. Heck, I hadn’t even heard of some of the categories.

Grrr. I wish I was staying an extra day in Melbourne.
