Parrot – An Atheist Movie

Two things – firstly, I saw this at the Global Atheist Convention and it was really difficult not to cry. It brought back too many memories. Secondly, you can donate to the directors and help them with their next project. I promptly did so and I hope you consider doing the same.

If you liked the film we’d love you to donate at: parrotshortfilm.com
This will allow us to make more films in the future.

And find out about the next short film we’re developing at: indiegogo.com/trunk

I bawled like a baby. The last time I looked for God was when my father was dying, and accepting that I would never get a chance to see him again was my last act of shedding faith. I didn’t stop believing in God because of my father’s cancer and early death – I had intellectually reasoned away gods before that – but it was when I emotionally let go.

Thanks for the movie. I’m off to donate. :)

Great! I’m glad it inspired you, I thought it was very well done and the loss extremely well portrayed.

    Great film.

    many harsh recollections though.

Paid direct, whilst waiting for my glacial download, I surfed into indiegogo and did not like it at all, much woo, and much faith.
